My name is Mary Wiseman and I am an equity leader and guide creating professional development opportunities for all who work in educational settings. Currently, I am  employed as the Director of Instructional Innovation & Faculty Investment at Springfield Technical Community College [STCC], Springfield, Massachusetts. I have an instructional design background and also lead the Center for Online & Digital Learning team at STCC. 

To my work I bring 30 years of experience teaching and learning online.  I hold a Masters of Art in media studies and another Masters of Science in higher education administration, a Graduate Certification in Instructional Design and in 2022 I completed my doctoral work at Northeastern University, Boston, MA.

My research was in curriculum design and investigated promising practices for online course design and keeping our Hispanic|Latinx students uppermost in mind.  I believe administrators, faculty, and staff must commit to transforming the institutional structures for serving in order to enhance the educational experiences and outcomes for all students. Social justice was a fundamental component of my dissertation work and continues to be of importance in all my work.
